Job summary

The New York City Mayor’s Office is seeking a Senior Director for Municipal Partnerships to lead relationships with municipal governments, global city networks, and international urban organizations. You will develop city-to-city partnerships and policy exchanges that advance mayoral priorities, with emphasis on affordability, housing, transportation, climate, and democratic governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in international affairs or related fields.
• Experience with public policy, partnerships, or diplomacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with municipal governments, global city networks, and international urban organizations.
• Develop city-to-city partnerships and policy exchanges to advance mayoral priorities.
• Coordinate international solidarity initiatives and collaborative projects with cities and local governments.
• Serve as lead liaison for an assigned geographic region, managing stakeholders.
• Coordinate City participation in international municipal forums and global city initiatives.
