Job summary

International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) in New York is seeking the Head of Internal Audit to lead the global function from our HQ. Reporting to the Audit Committee and CFO, you will design a risk-based audit plan and oversee SOX compliance while advising executive management and the Board on governance and control improvements.

You will drive analytics, automation, and AI-enabled auditing, build a world-class team, and promote ethics and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience across audit, risk, compliance or related disciplines.
• 10+ years in senior audit leadership roles.
• Experience leading a global internal audit function in a publicly traded company.
• Deep knowledge of SOX 404, SEC reporting, ERM, internal controls, governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global internal audit function with strategic oversight.
• Develop and execute a risk-based global audit plan covering financial, operational, technology, cyber, compliance and strategic risks.
