The role partners closely with cross functional stakeholders to understand business priorities, shape demand and sourcing strategies, strengthen supplier partnerships and deliver measurable enterprise value. The portfolio includes external services supporting Market Access, payer and access strategy, pricing and reimbursement, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), evidence and access analytics, and HCP/HCO related engagements and services.

How you will contribute
  • Develop and execute global category strategies across Market Access, HCP and HCO that maximize enterprise value while balancing financial performance, innovation, quality, risk, sustainability and business outcomes.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to Market Access and related functions, influencing how external spend and supplier capabilities are deployed to support business priorities.
  • Build a strong understanding of category demand, supplier markets, emerging capabilities and external spend across countries and business units.
  • Leverage market intelligence, supplier insights, digital capabilities, spend analytics and data driven decision making to identify opportunities and accelerate value creation.

  • Establish and oversee supplier segmentation, governance, performance management and strategic relationship management approaches for key suppliers.
  • Drive end to end Master Service Agreement (MSA) contract management for the category, establishing commercial frameworks that downstream Service Agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs) and purchase orders can leverage.
  • Manage category spend end to end, including tail spend analysis and the development of appropriate buying channels, preferred supplier approaches and spend management strategies.
  • Accountable for delivering category value targets and KPIs spanning P&L impact, P&L protection, cash improvement and value beyond savings including risk reduction, business performance, supplier innovation and sustainability.
  • Integrate supplier risk, business continuity, responsible sourcing, quality and sustainability considerations into category and supplier strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Procurement policies, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements and enterprise governance standards.
  • Mentor Procurement team members by sharing category knowledge, market insights and sourcing best practices.
