Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, negotiation, and lifecycle management of CAPEX, tooling, and services.
• Collaborate with跨-functional engineering, R&D, and equipment support teams across sites to drive cost-reduction.
• Manage ERP work including PO releases and follow up; ensure supplier performance and compliance.
• Renew and finalize supplier agreements to improve cost and operations.

Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Global Category Leader to lead the sourcing, negotiation, and lifecycle management of Semiconductor Capital Expenditure (CAPEX), tooling, and services. In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for both global CAPEX and local suppliers within your assigned category. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering, R&D, and equipment support teams across our global manufacturing sites to drive cost-reduction initiatives, mitigate supply chain risks, and optimize operational performance.

• You can be responsible for global CAPEX and local suppliers in global and local scales, for the category of responsibility.
• You can lead category meetings across Tower’s sites.
• You can initiate and cooperate in cost initiatives projects in collaboration with cross-functional positions, such as ERS, Engineering and R&D.
• You can be involved with suppliers and goods selection process.
• You can maintain on-going vendor relations enhancement activities.
• You can be responsible for ERP work, including PO releases and follow up.
• You can control supplier’s performance and compliance with service and supply agreement, through escalations, corrective actions, scorecards and structured business reviews.
• You can manager business continuity plans and sourcing strategies for the category.
• You can renew existing agreements, propose, initiate and finalize new agreements to improve operational efficiency, cost, and aid business performance.
• You can develop ideas and strategies to improve performance and work towards a continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering. An MBA, MS, or related advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience: Proven track record with substantial experience and a deep understanding of purchasing and supply chain management.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Hebrew is a plus but not required.
• Negotiation: Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to lead complex supplier negotiations.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite (highly advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Time Management: Proven ability to balance competing priorities, manage heavy workloads, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Drive: Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work autonomously and drive initiatives independently.
• Work Environment: This is a 100% on-site role; the successful candidate must be able to work in person at our designated location on a daily basis.
