Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Category Finance Manager, Spray and Specialty, in Golden Valley, MN. You will be the strategic finance partner for the category, owning the global P&L and leading budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with cross-functional leadership.

You will develop robust models, deliver insightful analyses, and drive efficiencies while supporting data analytics initiatives and dashboard development across the business. This is a full-time role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive FP&A or Controllership experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting; MBA/CMA/CPA desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years people management experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial processes.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Be the key category operating and strategic partner to the General Manager and CFO with global P&L ownership.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for the category, including reviews, risk analysis and reporting.
• Improve planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for efficiency.
• Review rebates, incentive programs, and month-end accruals.
• Develop and monitor category performance metrics and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly business unit reviews and outlooks.
• Support data analytics initiatives and dashboard development across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic projects.
