The Orchard is a leading music distribution company seeking a VP, Catalog to lead global strategy and growth for the catalog across territories. You will drive lifecycle management, revenue growth, and cross-functional alignment with Label Heads and Commerce teams.

Reporting to the SVP, Commerce, this executive will mentor a high-performing team, embed data-driven decision making, and ensure catalog priorities inform label planning and partnerships while maximizing market impact.

Qualifications

• Industry Mastery: 15+ years in digital commerce, marketing, or distribution with cross-functional coordination.
• Proven Builder: Built departments, startups, or units from the ground up and integrated into operating systems.
• Lifecycle & Model Expertise: Deep understanding of commerce channels and economic models to drive strategy.
• Financial Acumen: Advanced P&L management and revenue modeling with data tools.
• Strategic Leverage: Strong network across global commerce platforms to shape strategy.
• Cultural & Narrative Alignment: Strong sense for music culture and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Global Strategy & Market Growth: Own the Global Catalog roadmap and KPIs across territories.
• Commercial P&L & Multi-Pillar Execution: Oversee financial health and revenue targets for the Catalog division.
• Executive Partnership & Commercial Influence: Collaborate with Label Heads and Global Commerce Leads on catalog strategies.
• Cultural & Commercial Lifecycle Management: Maximize repertoire impact across the org with cross-functional partners.
• Technology & Scalable Decision Making: Partner with Analytics to embed data-driven decisions and scalable systems.
• Leadership & Team Mentorship: Lead and mentor a high-performing team with a culture of innovation.
