Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Carbon Inventory Manager within WW Sustainability to oversee carbon accounting and reporting program enhancements across Scope 1-3. This role requires collaboration with global business units, finance, and tech teams to advance Amazon's sustainability goals.

You will lead data-driven analyses, develop dashboards, coordinate external assurance, and build an audit trail for disclosures, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness in a fast-moving, global environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in finance and accounting, corporate sustainability, environmental management, or carbon accounting.
• Experience in sustainability reporting, assurance, or environmental data management.
• Experience owning and driving large-scale cross-functional programs.
• Strong understanding of carbon accounting frameworks (GHG Protocol, Scope 1/2/3).

Responsibilities

• Lead the continuous enhancement of Amazon’s centralized carbon inventory system to track, analyze, and report on Scope 1/2/3 emissions.
• Establish and maintain a cross-functional coalition of stakeholders across business units, finance, and internal tech teams.
• Engage department leads to understand data sources and processes for accurate greenhouse gas tracking and reporting.
• Prepare periodic carbon accounting reports and dashboards to inform strategic decisions.
• Serve as internal carbon accounting SME; train cross-functional teams on data collection and analysis.
• Coordinate external assurance engagements with third-party providers and address findings.
• Maintain a centralized audit trail of methodologies and judgments for assurance-ready disclosures.
