Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is offering a paid internship in its Auditing Department in Utah. Interns gain exposure to auditing practices across a multinational Church organization, with opportunities to travel domestically and internationally and to work with management across headquarters and operations.

Candidates should be enrolled in an accounting or data science program, have 3+ years of coursework, and ideally be pursuing an MAcc.

Qualifications

• Paid internships considered while enrolled in school and for one year after graduation
• 3+ years of college coursework as an accounting or data science major required
• Master of Accountancy candidates preferred
• Available to travel as part of the internship
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills
• Energy to focus on enhancing and optimizing Church entities, set and accomplish goals
• Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (temple recommend)

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on department and need
• The Intern receives assignments from supervising staff
• The Manager reviews the Intern's work occasionally
• The supervisor reviews each assignment as it is completed
• The Intern is expected to meet rigid deadlines, work in harmony with others, take direction, and show attention to detail. Independence, tact, and diplomacy are required
