Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an Analyst Relations Director to lead strategic engagement with industry analysts, shaping the market reputation and growth of Grant Thornton Advisors. You will drive a global analyst relations program across the major firms and coordinate with Marketing and Communications to align analyst, media and investor narratives.

The role requires owning the analyst narrative, proactively engaging analysts, and advising executives on messaging and positioning.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on Analyst Relations experience with top analyst firms.
• Proven experience leading or supporting formal analyst evaluations.
• Experience building or owning an Analyst Relations program in tech, consulting, or advisory environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence analyst coverage and positioning.
• Experience preparing senior executives for analyst briefings and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Own the analyst narrative and evolve a clear storyline aligned with GT Advisors' strategy.
• Proactively engage top-tier analysts across Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Everest Group, TBR and others.
• Influence analyst perception, monitor research, and elevate differentiation vs competitors.
• Lead the firm's response to ratings cycles (Magic Quadrant, Waves, MarketScape).
• Advise senior leaders on messaging, Q&A and positioning for sensitive topics.
• Partner across Service Line Marketing, Communications, Technology and business units.
• Identify opportunities where analyst commentary supports pursuits and deals.
• Design and manage analyst advocacy programs, events and advisory boards.
• Set KPIs for analyst relations effectiveness and report to leadership.
• Oversee analyst relations budget, subscriptions, and agency relationships.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure consistency across narratives.
