Job summary

Meta is seeking a senior technical leader to build and scale Developer Relations for our AI solution portfolio. You will own the end-to-end developer relationship strategy, growing a vibrant community and enabling developers to ship products on top of our technology.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, research, and partnerships to align open-source strategy, drive adoption, and lead high-profile external engagements at conferences and in academic settings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field is required or equivalent practical experience.
15+ years in developer-facing roles spanning DevRel, developer products, engineering, or technical leadership.
Deep technical credibility in AI/ML, LLMs, or adjacent areas (fine-tuning, inference, deployment).
Proven ability to build and scale developer communities from early stages to thousands of contributors.
Experience with academic/research partnerships at a strategic level.
Executive-level, metrics-driven accountability (OKRs, ecosystem KPIs).
Excellent public and written communication in the AI developer community.

Responsibilities

Define the vision and strategy for developer relations across Meta's AI model portfolio, ensuring a coherent developer experience.
Build and grow a global developer community around Meta's models and solutions through events and programs.
Establish academic partnerships with leading research institutions to advance collaboration and adoption.
Represent Meta as a key external face at conferences and in industry forums, engaging developers and researchers.
Drive adoption through technical enablement, reference architectures, docs, tutorials, and tooling.
