We partner with agency executives, investment heads, and programmatic planning teams to deliver scaled advertising solutions through the Yahoo DSP while championing agency partner needs across Yahoo’s sales and product organizations.

About The Role

Yahoo is seeking an experienced Global Agency Director to lead and expand Yahoo's DSP advertising business across leading Independent Agencies, with a primary focus on PMG and other major independent partners. This is a high-impact individual contributor role where you will serve as an executive ambassador and trusted advisor, aligning strategic agency priorities to drive substantial DSP revenue growth. As a senior leader on the global agencies team, you will be responsible for influencing Independent Agency decision-makers, advocating for Yahoo DSP’s Advertising Solutions, and ensuring the success of joint initiatives across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Own and cultivate executive-level relationships with senior decision-makers across PMG and other Independent Agencies, positioning Yahoo as a trusted strategic partner and proactively identifying opportunities to accelerate growth.
• Drive transformative revenue growth across PMG and other Independent Agencies by shaping partnership strategies that challenge industry norms and position the Yahoo DSP as a market leader.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and automation (such as Gong, Gemini, and Claude) to synthesize meeting notes, generate summaries, streamline account planning, and enhance pipeline management.
• Shape and influence Yahoo DSP’s go-to-market and sales activation strategies with agency partners across account planning, investment, and Video/Connected TV (CTV) teams, ensuring operational excellence and delivering against ambitious growth objectives.
• Champion the voice of the customer, leveraging executive agency insights to inform and evolve Yahoo’s product innovation and go-to-market strategies.
• Partner closely with sales and the GAP team, harnessing top-down agency leadership alignment to activate bottom-up demand and accelerate revenue growth.
• Leverage deep relationships with agency stakeholders to hone trusted partnerships and drive share shift across agency portfolios.
• Serve as a senior ambassador for the Yahoo DSP, representing the organization in agency leadership forums and industry events to elevate Yahoo’s profile and strengthen its position as a trusted, strategic partner.
• Stay informed about Yahoo's capabilities and product offerings through continuous learning and on-site training.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in advertising, media, or technology building & leading trusted agency stakeholder relationships, client leadership, and business development.
• Experience selling omnichannel advertising solutions spanning CTV, video, audio, display, and DOOH.
• Proven ability to cultivate and deepen executive-level agency relationships that drive strategic alignment and long-term investment growth.
• Effective in navigating Independent Agency Leadership, account-level investment and planning teams, and Video/Connected TV teams.
• Demonstrated success in a revenue-driving role, with a proven ability to deliver growth through onboarding new accounts, strategic partnerships, and innovative solutions.
• Deep understanding of the advertising agency ecosystem, including agency dynamics, operations models, and key decision-making processes.
• Thrives in dynamic, fast-changing environments and provides clarity amidst complexity.
• Proven success collaborating cross-functionally with diverse teams to drive cohesive strategies and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to clearly articulate strategy and foster alignment across sales, agency partners, cross-functional teams, and clients.
• Demonstrates strong operational leadership with exceptional organization skills, ensuring timely responsiveness and effective management of business processes to support strategic objectives.
• Brings a technical mindset, understanding of the DSP landscape and programmatic features.

Preferred Responsibilities/Qualifications

• Practical familiarity with conversational intelligence and generative AI tools (such as Gong, Gemini, and Claude) to capture meeting notes, summarize complex discussions, and accelerate account preparation.
• Established, active relationships across PMG or major independent agency networks in the region.

The compensation for this position ranges from $217,905.00 - $473,710.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
