Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Share Business Data Scientist within Global Affairs to enable a more data-driven and predictive GA organization. You will work with GenAI, ML/AI tools, and Google technologies to drive decisions across cross-GA initiatives and improve business operations.

As part of Global Affairs, you will help shape AI strategy by leveraging the GA data ecosystem and coordinating with product areas to address regulatory, safety, and policy needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business issues, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or a relevant PhD degree.
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning solutions, with a focus on Generative AI, NLP, and LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Support data-driven solutions with a focus on large language models and AI to address business problems in Global Affairs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage LLMs for text analysis and knowledge extraction, translating business needs into analyses and metrics.
• Stay current on trends and best practices in data science and business analytics.
