Job summary

Talentify in Knoxville, TN is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead US and international AP/AR functions and support the GL team. The role partners with finance leadership to drive financial excellence and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting with leadership experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems. This is a fully onsite role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• 2+ years of people management or accounting leadership experience.
• Experience managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions within a corporate environment.
• Strong experience with financial statement preparation, month-end close, and account reconciliation processes.
• CPA designation preferred (Preferred qualifications).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations across U.S. and international entities.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in partnership with the General Ledger and FP&A teams.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and complex accounting transactions.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual financial audits and compliance reviews.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements across accounting functions.
