Job summary

Mouser Electronics, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented accountant to manage journal entries and GL reconciliation. You will handle foreign currency transactions, perform advanced financial analyses, and assist with month-end close while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Strong communication with international branches is required. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and at least two years of accounting experience; CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Minimum two years’ general accounting experience or equivalent.
• CPA license is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to type and work on PC for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and entering journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Recording transactions in foreign currencies and calculating exchange gains/losses.
• Perform advanced financial and variance analysis for month-end close questions.
• Calculate and record accruals/prepayments.
• Communicate with international branches and report from worldwide offices.
