Job summary

Bombardier is offering a Global 8000 Wing Stress Intern (Summer) position in the US Aerostructures unit. The role involves supporting data analysis and database updates while assisting with projects aligned to the business plan.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering degrees, with basic knowledge of aircraft structures and strong communication skills. The internship runs during the summer, typically 40 hours per week, daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft structure (preferred).
• Basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (preferred).
• Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week; Mon–Fri 7am–4pm preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred).
• Experience with CATIA/Enovia, MSC Patran/Nastran or Altair Hypermesh is a plus.

How to thrive in this role?

• You are currently working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering

• You must have basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (preferred).
• You have the availability to work a min of 40 hours/week. Preferred Monday – Friday between 7am – 4pm.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred).
• Experience with any of the following applications is a plus; CATIA/Enovia, MSC Patran/Nastran, Altair Hypermesh (preferred).
