Job summary

Executive Jet Management in Oakland seeks a Global 6500 Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on owner aircraft, including troubleshooting, repair, and inspection to FAR standards. This role involves travel to domestic and international destinations and requires hands-on expertise with high-pressure schedules.

You will inspect components, replace electrical gear, ensure airworthiness, and document work.

Qualifications

Ability to run and taxi owner aircraft.
Work on a lift platform 3–40 ft high as required.
Stand or sit for prolonged repairs.
Operate tools including jacks, welders, torches, paint guns, sanders, drill press.
Lift and move parts up to 70 lb; single item up to 125 lb with assistance.
Learn and use technical manuals; strong mechanical aptitude.
Clear written and oral communication.
Perform repairs quickly in high‑pressure situations.
Input and retrieve information from computers.
Travel to locations in all weather to perform repairs.
Perform receiving inspections to company standards.
Operate basic hand tools.
Preference for local candidates with Global experience.

Responsibilities

Perform or supervise scheduled/unscheduled aircraft maintenance on engines, gear, instruments and systems.
Inspect with precision instruments; ensure calibration and safety compliance.
Travel to customer sites or arrange repairs through outside vendors; test flights as needed.
Inspect incoming parts and components; ensure airworthiness.
Adhere to SMS program and report safety/quality observations.
