Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Global 5000 Captain to join our operation at the KOPF airport. The ideal candidate will be a standout colleague dedicated to excellence in every aspect of performance, safety, service and integrity.

Essential duties include operating the Global 5000 safely, reviewing maintenance, performing pre-flight inspections, evaluating weather and routes, and ensuring adherence to Solairus policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.

Qualifications

• Type rated on Global 5000 or comparable aircraft.
• First class medical required.
• Must be able to work on an on-call basis.
• Must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a 2 hour drive from KOPF or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe operation of the Global 5000 aircraft.
• Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner per regulations and company policies.
• Review the maintenance status of the aircraft.
• Perform proper pre-flight inspection per Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather, facilities, routes and alternate airports.
• Ensure flight safety of passengers, aircraft and crew; complete trip paperwork.
