Job summary

Endeavor Health in Glenview, IL seeks a Surgical Technologist for mainly daytime OR coverage. The role involves scrubbing for intraoperative procedures and preparing instruments and supplies for surgeries.

On-call rotations are required; hours run Monday through Friday, with a 6:30am-5:00pm schedule and full-time or part-time options. Candidate must be a high school graduate, with CST highly preferred and CPR certification current.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist school or 3+ years’ experience.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• CST certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub person duties during intraoperative procedures.
• Assist in preparing and dispensing instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Conduct instrument, needle, sharps, and sponge counts and handle specimens.
• Assist with dressings or casts and moving patients as needed.
• Assist in decontamination/reprocessing area when assigned.
• Maintain operating room inventory and supply carts.
