Job summary

Ashford Glass & Mirror, a Houston-based glazing contractor, is seeking a Level 2 Project Manager to lead commercial glazing projects from contract award through closeout. You will plan, schedule, and control budgets, procurement, and customer communications to ensure safe, profitable, and timely project delivery.

The role involves independent management of small-to-mid sized projects and supporting Senior PMs on larger engagements, with frequent coordination among customers, vendors, and field

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, glazing, storefront, curtainwall, or related trades preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local job sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, specifications, drawings, and project scope requirements.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records and closeout documents.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, fabrication teams, and field crews.
• Identify schedule risks and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Support manpower planning and resource allocation.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and profitability; assist forecasting and billing.
