Qualifications

• 5 years of sales and estimating experience in a subcontracting environment.

• Proficiency with the company’s electronic estimating system.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review bid opportunities to evaluate fit with company capabilities and objectives.
• Read bid specs, drawings, notes, and other documents.
• Request clarifications from clients to submit complete bids.
• Take off quantities using the company estimating system.
• Visit job sites when needed to address unusual requirements.
• Review estimates with VP Sales and Estimating before submission.
• Follow up bids to maximize awarded projects.
• Record bid reasons for non-awarded bids and report to VP Sales and Estimating.
