Job summary

VALIDATION ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking a Glassware Specialist to support a PerkinElmer lab services team. Responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, inspecting, and returning glassware to clients, while maintaining adherence to GDP and safety requirements.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2+ years lab experience required.
• Proven ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience with cleaning, sanitization, and GDP practices is preferred.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and software after training.

Responsibilities

• Collect and transport lab glassware and plasticware per procedures.
• Operate glassware washers, dry heat sterilizers, and ultrasonic baths.
• Inspect processed glassware for cleanliness and integrity before release.
• Maintain equipment logs and GDP documentation.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages to Glassware Lead.
• Collaborate with team to implement process improvements.
• Train new team members as assigned.
• Provide backup for related lab support functions as needed.
