Job summary

Bv glass is seeking an Installer Assistant to join our team in California. You will assist with the installation and repair of windows, glass, and showers, learning to measure, cut glass, and fabricate screens.

You will work Monday–Friday 7:30–4:00 with possible overtime, participate in a drug test and background check, and enjoy benefits including health insurance and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with a wide array of general construction tools & equipment.
• Have good mathematical skills, including reading a tape measure.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Quick learner.
• Ability to work well in teams.
• Ability to prioritize & multitask.
• Have a clean, company insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation & repair of all types of glass products
• Learn how to measure for glass products
• Learn how to make screens & cut glass
• Maintain a safe & clean work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain standards of dress and cleanliness expected of all installers
