Job summary

Chart Industries in Beasley, TX is seeking a hands-on Mold Technician to support the fiberglass production area. You will follow the mold schedule, prepare fiberglass sheets, and collaborate with mold leads to ensure smooth operations and quality control.

The role requires basic education, some manufacturing exposure, and strong safety awareness. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with lifting, equipment operation, and adherence to company policies for a safe, efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• High School Education or Equivalent.
• 6-month manufacturing setting, fast paced environment or construction experience.
• Manual Dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Team-work oriented skills.
• Safety Oriented Skills.
• Basic Written and Verbal Skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow and track mold production schedule to maintain minimum stock levels of material.
• Prepares and cuts fiberglass sheets from template per blade design.
• Works closely with mold leads and coordinators.
• Reports equipment malfunction and other issues affecting department.
• Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility.
• Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from mold stations.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures regarding the glass-room and safety.
• Work involves frequent lifting and working with fiberglass in a manufacturing setting.
• Comply with all CHART policies and procedures.
• Maintains good housekeeping and organization throughout the department.
• Ensure all products have proper identification.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

What Will You Do?

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

• Walking, Standing, Use of hands, Bending, Lifting, Sitting, Etc.
• Indoor and outdoor working conditions
• Lifting of materials and product as up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• PPE must be worn at all times
• Able to work overtime as required
