Responsibilities

• Visually examines and/or gauges glassware, packs in cartons, and attends semi-automatic equipment to ensure conformance to specification.
• Holds ware back or stops the line if not visually inspecting the ware.
• Packs acceptable ware in cartons and may have to install required internal packaging requirements.
• Responsible for unjamming and restarting all automatic inspection equipment.
• Checks for partition damage from automatic case packer.
• Places ware off or on lines as necessary.
• Un‑jams equipment such as conveying lines, inspection equipment, and case packers as necessary.
• Prepares paperwork such as production tally sheets.
• Positions as entry level includes line monitoring, palletizer operations and reselect.
• Performs other work as assigned by the Supervisor and may have to work in other departments as needed.
