Job summary

Guardian Glass in Corsicana, TX is seeking motivated Manufacturing Operators to operate, monitor, and optimize automated float glass production lines. Qualifications

• Experience navigating electrical schematics to troubleshoot issues with equipment.
• Experience in 24 VDC and up to 480 VAC using testing equipment.
• Experience in troubleshooting motors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated float glass production lines and support equipment.
• Start up and shut down equipment; perform line changeovers and product grade changes.
• Monitor process parameters and adjust controls to maintain specs and throughput.
• Inspect glass for defects and take corrective actions; notify quality/engineering as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting; coordinate complex repairs with maintenance team.
• Execute reliability activities and report abnormal trends.
• Follow continuous improvement methods to reduce downtime and scrap.
• Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and quality records.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies; use PPE and LO/TO procedures.
• Train and mentor junior operators; participate in shift handovers.
