About this position

MY Shower Door is seeking coachable, mechanically inclined individuals ready to transform trade skills into a specialized craft. As a Glass Installation Technician, in the Charlotte, NC area, you won’t just install luxury frameless shower doors—you'll deliver the final, most important touch on high‑end home renovations. Whether you have hands‑on experience in tile, carpentry, drywall, or you're a quick learner with mechanical aptitude, we provide expert training and mentorship to launch your career.

What You’ll Do

• Install custom frameless glass shower enclosures with precision and care
• Work in a two‑person team to complete installations on‑site
• Engage respectfully with customers to explain the installation and answer questions
• Use a variety of tools including drills, levels, suction cups, and measuring tapes
• Safely lift and maneuver glass panels (up to 100 lbs)
• Apply caulking and ensure watertight, seamless finishes
• Maintain a clean and protected work area in customer homes
• Follow company safety and quality standards on every job

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Able to add/subtract fractions and use a tape measure accurately
• Background in carpentry, tile, drywall, remodeling, plumbing, or general handyman work is a plus
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials, bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for long periods

Physical Demands
