Job summary

Pilkington North America, part of the NSG Group, seeks a delivery driver in Hartford, CT. The role is 80% delivery driving and 20% warehouse activity, with emphasis on prompt deliveries and strong customer relations.

Core hours are 9am–6pm, Monday–Friday. This safety-sensitive position requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 35–70 lbs, and proficiency in English. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid holidays and vacations, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to lift 35-45 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
• Experience operating a forklift/order picker and basic hand tools.
• Good attendance and strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers glass to customers promptly.
• Develops and maintains good customer relations on delivery.
• Receives glass shipments and unpacks incoming trucks at warehouse.
• Locates required parts in warehouse and removes from stock.
• Checks inventory to maintain accuracy for delivery.
• Receives orders from warehouse office.
