Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Warrenton, MO is seeking a Machine Operator 2 for the Cutting Department. The role primarily operates cutting and washing equipment to process glass per customer specs and production needs.

First shift 5:00am–1:00pm, starting pay $22.50 per hour. You will work with Bilco storage systems, cutting tables, washers, and Remaster optimization software while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred, preferably in glass.
• Experience operating automated production equipment or CNC machinery.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, schedules, specs, and quality requirements.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and use measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate Bilco storage system and washer to process glass per production specs.
• Operate Hegla cutting table and Remaster optimization system for accurate cuts.
• Operate KSR washer to prepare glass for downstream processing.
• Review production schedules and work orders for accurate processing.
• Inspect glass for defects and quality concerns throughout processes.
• Perform machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as required.
• Maintain production records and required documentation.
• Assist with inventory control and housekeeping to keep area clean and organized.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and quality concerns to leadership.
