Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Glass Cleaner - Custodian to maintain inside and outside windows across facilities in Detroit area. The role focuses on cleaning glass surfaces, doors, escalators, and related fixtures with squeegees and solutions.

The position offers a daytime shift, 5:30AM-2:00PM or 1:30PM-10:00PM, at $17.80 per hour. A High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver's license may be required; prior cleaning experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma / GED with 6 months–1 year of experience, or equivalent.
• May require a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures.
• Use cleaning solutions, squeegees, and other tools to remove dirt, streaks, and grime.
• Ensure safety protocols and OSHA regulations are followed at all times.
• Inspect windows and report any damages or maintenance needs.
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members.
• Maintain and store equipment properly after use.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.

Job Overview

The Window Washer will be responsible for washing the interior and exterior windows for all buildings except those requiring chair work, which is contracted to outside vendor.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures.


• Use cleaning solutions, squeegees, and other tools to remove dirt, streaks, and grime.
