Mountain America Credit Union in the United States is seeking an accounting professional to review, balance, and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of outstanding items. The role involves reconciling ledgers with third-party statements, making corrective entries, and handling duties such as Accounts Payable and cash balancing.

Requires 6 months of related experience and an associate's degree in accounting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Review, balance and reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve outstanding items in order to maintain efficiency and accuracy in the accounting department.
• Reconciles general ledger accounts to third party statements and subsidiary ledgers to ensure accuracy of accounting records.
• Makes needed adjusting and/or correcting entries to the accounting records to bring records into balance.
• Handles duties such as but not limited to: Accounts Payable, Inclearings, Cash Proof Balancing, Official Checks, Corporate Balancing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
