GCI is seeking a Manager, GL Accounting to lead a team responsible for the General Ledger functions. You will drive month-end close, ensure GAAP compliance, and coordinate with auditors and senior management.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years GL experience with supervisory roles, strong Oracle and Excel skills, and a CPA preferred. The role supports a 24/7 telecom environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of seven years of progressive GL accounting experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory/management role.
• CPA firm experience may substitute for GL experience up to two-for-one.
• CPA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close processes for the GL group with timely accuracy.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and perform reconciliations.
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations as applicable.
• Oversee performance management, mentoring, and development.
• Coordinate with auditors and senior management as needed.
