GitLab Administrator
Prescient Edge is seeking a GitLab Administrator to support a federal government client.

Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain GitLab repositories for version control, code collaboration, and tracking changes to scripts, documentation, and system configurations.
- Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) in GitLab, ensuring only authorized personnel can access and modify repositories.
- Submit the GitLab Access & Security Compliance Report, documenting repository management, user access controls, and security policies.
Experience
- Possess the knowledge and capability to administer, maintain, and optimize GitLab for version control, repository management, and secure DevSecOps workflows.
- Proficient in CI/CD pipeline configuration, access control management, and code repository best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in managing Git repositories, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure DevSecOps integration.
- Experience with access control policies, automated testing frameworks, and software configuration management.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in GitLab administration.
- Desirable but not required: GitLab Certified Associate or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Security Clearance
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a clearance.
