Job summary

Sovereign Consulting Inc. seeks a GIT/Geologist/Environmental Scientist for its Denville, NJ office. The position targets 0–5 years of geology or environmental science experience and involves field sampling, data reporting, and proposal preparation.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of experience with geology or environmental science background.
• Experience with NJDEP regulations, guidance documents, and field stamping procedures.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification preferred; current 8-hour refresher and/or Supervisor Certification a plus.
• Demonstrated technical writing skills.
• Must have clean driving record and willingness for occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Groundwater, soil, surface water, and vapor intrusion sampling.
• Monitoring well, soil boring and log preparation.
• Preparation of analytical data tables.
