Edwards Pitman, a Braun Intertec Company, is seeking an entry to mid-level GIS Specialist/Traffic Noise Analyst to join its team in the Atlanta office. The role responsibilities would be split between GIS services and traffic noise modeling for noise impact assessments. The GIS work would include generating graphics and datasets for our ecology, archaeology, history, and NEPA groups, assisting with GPS workflows for field data collection, and various data processing and database management tasks. The traffic noise work would include field surveying, recording noise measurements, developing noise models in GIS for import into TNM 2.5, assessing noise abatement measures via TNM results, and completing noise impact assessments.
Valid driver’s license and pass MVR as required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The majority of time will be spent working in office with 3-4 days per month traveling to project sites and completing fieldwork. The first 6 months will require the employee to be in office, but a shift to a hybrid role with some time spent working remotely can be discussed after that period.
$52,800.00 - $79,200.00
