Job summary

County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works is seeking an experienced Project Manager II/III with a focus in geographic information systems (GIS) to design and maintain dashboards tracking rebuild projects and program items, and to support mapping and data requests.

The role requires 10+ years of PM experience (5+ years in GIS analysis) and advanced proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online/Enterprise, and dashboard tools such as ArcGIS Dashboards or Power BI.

Qualifications

Bachelors or higher in Geographic Information Science, Geography, Data Science, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field.
10+ years preferred project management experience; GIS-focused background.
Strong experience designing and maintaining dashboards and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

Support project management activities: planning, coordination, tracking, and reporting.
Develop and maintain GIS dashboards, maps, and data visualization tools.
Collect, analyze, and manage project data to support program objectives.
Monitor project progress and prepare reports for management and stakeholders.
Coordinate with project teams, agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure timely information.
Maintain data accuracy and support improvements to reporting processes.
Assist with GIS mapping, data analysis, and other project-related requests.
