Job summary

Genesee & Wyoming Inc. is seeking a GIS intern in Jacksonville to support day-to-day department operations. The role will help you gain an understanding of the railroad industry and how G&W operates, while you develop essential GIS and business skills in a hands-on environment.

You will work closely with team members, gain exposure to company processes and systems, and perform additional duties as assigned to support ongoing projects.

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
• Valid driver’s license required.

• The intern will gain a basic understanding of the railroad industry, including industry structure and some competitive dynamics.
• The intern will also gain an understanding of G&W’s processes, procedures, and systems.
• Other duties as assigned
