Job summary

The candidate will deliver training, support, and analytical maps, while coordinating with state agencies to ensure consistency with statewide mitigation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus work experience in emergency planning, operational planning, public health management, or geography or a related field.
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of spatial analysis and cartography.

Responsibilities

• Develop GIS data and products for hazard identification and risk analysis updates.
• Edit GIS data for multiple products and maintain the MitigationSC online platform.
• Deliver training and technical support on GIS tools and analyses.
• Coordinate with other state agencies to align statewide hazard reduction goals.
• Prepare analytical maps, tables, reports, and oral presentations.
