Job summary

Timmons Group in Winchester, VA seeks a Telecommunications Field Technician to join our Telecommunications & MRE group. You will collect GPS positions, photos, and asset data in the field, often outdoors, and coordinate with project managers to ensure high-quality surveying results.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect GPS positions, photos and data for utility assets in the field.
• Work outside independently in challenging conditions daily.
• Walk moderate distances carrying equipment.
• Engage property owners to explain the data collection task and its necessity.
• Maintain data files daily to ensure data integrity and security.
• Interpret map information to determine survey approaches for project areas.
• Meet or exceed client quality standards.
