Summary

Paratum Solutions is seeking an experienced US‑based GIS Enterprise Analyst with strong hands‑on expertise in Esri Enterprise environments. This role will support client systems, deployments, upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and overall ArcGIS Enterprise ecosystem performance. The incumbent must have the ability to work independently, define and execute technical project scope, manage workload and schedule, and have the drive to see projects to completion.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move into consulting from their current role. The role will begin as a project‑based contract and/or part‑time position, with strong potential to grow into a permanent full‑time opportunity as our client base and business lines continue to expand.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
• Support ArcGIS Portal, Server, Data Store, and Web Adaptor components.
• Perform upgrades, patches, migrations, and health checks.
• Troubleshoot system performance and availability issues.
• Manage user roles, permissions, and security configurations.
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and system documentation.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and clients.
• Recommend best practices for scalability and reliability.
• Execute and document established technical workflows, architectural diagrams, and KPIs.
• Work closely with senior staff and clients for GIS technology adoption and integration.
• Deliver projects on time, on budget, and on scope.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ArcGIS Enterprise administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Portal, Server, and Data Store.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Understanding of networking, SSL, authentication, and security practices.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise GIS systems.
• Strong communication and client‑facing skills.
• Resides in and is able to work in the US.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud deployments (Azure / AWS).
• Scripting experience with Python or PowerShell.
• Esri certifications.

Experience and Education

• 5+ years experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, Urban Planning, Environmental Studies, or similar; or 8+ years of relevant experience.
