Job summary

Vantor Inc. is seeking a senior GIS professional to design, analyze, and implement geospatial solutions for intelligence applications in the Washington, DC area. The role includes building and analyzing spatial databases, managing GIS data, and leading complex projects.

Qualified candidates will have 13+ years in GIS, expert spatial modeling skills, and an active TS/CI polygraph clearance. Cloud and data integration experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze and develop geo-spatial solutions and product specifications for infrastructure, hydrographic and physiographic features for global geo-spatial images and vector products.
• Perform GIS analyses on natural resources data.
• Plan, design, develop, document and analyze spatial and relational databases.
• Apply software to manage spatial and related tabular data.
• Build databases by capturing map information with coordinate digitizer.
• Produce computer map products depicting contents of databases and locate sources of GIS data.

Job description

Eligibility

U.S. Citizen. Requires an active U.S. Government security clearance at the TS/SCI level with CI Polygraph. Employment for cleared roles is contingent upon verification of clearance status.

Export Control/ITAR

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 13+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including but not limited to the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

Base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area: $147,000.00 - $245,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
