Job summary

Global Communications Services in San Antonio, TX seeks an Applications Sys Analyst/Program – Intermediate. Under supervision, you will formulate system scope and objectives and develop moderately complex information systems, preparing detailed specifications for programs to be written and guiding design, coding, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Five years of GIS experience or equivalent technical orientation.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Oracle.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation V8i, and ESRI ArcView is desirable.
• GPS experience with ArcGIS or similar software; CAD drawings in ESRI products.
• Active favorable NACI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives for moderately complex information systems.
• Prepares detailed specifications for programs; designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs.
• Provide GIS development/analyst support within GIS systems using ArcGIS, AutoCAD Map, and related software.
