Required:

Intermediate knowledge of linear referencing and geometric networks.
Experience with the Utility and Pipeline Data Model (UPDM).
Preferred:
Experience in the Natural Gas Utility sector.

Major Responsibilities
Execute technical project tasks such as database design, advanced GIS analysis, and modeling.
Conduct data mining activities to fulfill customer requirements.
Generate specialized queries, maps, and reports to meet specifications.
Perform application testing and document defects.
Interface with Information Services GIS support and represent user concerns.
Interface with users and document requested changes.
Perform weekly audits and analysis to ensure GIS data integrity.
Develop methods and perform quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) for GIS and non-spatial data.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for GIS projects and solution workshops.
Identify training requirements and create training and procedural documentation.
Identify and recommend new GIS technologies, processes, or applications for improved functionality.
Create and manage automated processes using FME, scripting, or other tools.
Process, prepare, and convert data for GIS use across various formats.
Analyze and optimize business processes to recommend best practices.
