Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a GIS Analyst for our Geographic Information Systems Department in Wall, NJ. The role focuses on creating, maintaining, and analyzing spatial datasets to support engineering, planning, and environmental projects, and producing high-quality mapping deliverables for proposals, reports, and public presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning, or related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of professional GIS experience, preferably within the A/E/C (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
  • Experience with utility asset inventory management systems for tracking, maintaining, and managing infrastructure assets.
  • Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and related ESRI software.
  • Experience with GPS data collection and mobile GIS applications.
  • Knowledge of spatial analysis techniques, coordinate systems, and data management best practices.
  • Familiarity with CAD/GIS integration is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $52,000 to $62,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
