Position: Girls Wrestling Coach Assistant

Location: Graettinger-Terril CSD

Season: Winter Season

Start Date: 2026–2027 School Year

Description: Titan Nation is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to serve as the Girls Wrestling Coach Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a competitive girls wrestling program while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth among student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead all aspects of the girls wrestling program.
• Plan and conduct effective practices that develop individual and team skills.
• Instruct athletes on proper techniques, conditioning, and safety.
• Promote good sportsmanship and positive representation of the school and community.
• Coordinate schedules, transportation, and communication with the athletic director.
• Ensure compliance with school, conference, and state athletic association regulations.
• Work collaboratively with school staff, administration, and parents.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, competitions, and team events.

Qualifications

• Previous wrestling coaching or competitive wrestling experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes.
• Must hold or be able to obtain required coaching authorization/licensure in the state of Iowa.
• Must complete required background checks and district trainings.
