Job summary

Perry Township Schools is seeking an HS Girls' Assistant Wrestling Coach to instruct athletes in wrestling skills and strategies, monitor equipment, and promote the sport within the school and community.

The candidate will support athletes' personal development and manage logistics for events. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with prior experience in coaching preferred.

Qualifications

• Understanding of state and league regulations.
• Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds.
• Experience in coaching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in skills and strategy.
• Monitor equipment rooms and locker areas.
• Assist in scheduling and preparing events.
• Promote the sport within and outside the school.

Skills

Thorough knowledge of athletic policies

Ability to organize and supervise a sports program

Substantial knowledge of sport technical aspects

Ability to serve as a role model

Education

High School Diploma or GED
