Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools in Chantilly, Virginia, seeks a high school lacrosse assistant coach for Freedom High School. The season runs February through May, and you will support the head coach to operate a well-structured program.

You will work with the athletic department, attend staff meetings, and carry out duties as directed by the head coach, while fostering sportsmanship and community pride.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience at high school or college level.
• Completion of CPR and First Aid training.
• Prefer experience as a Loudoun County Public Schools employee.
• Prefer a Virginia Teaching License candidate or a full-time classified employee for LCPS.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head athletic coach to run a well-structured lacrosse program.
• Collaborate with the athletic department.
• Attend all staff meetings during the season.
• Carry out duties designated by the head athletic coach.
• Recommend equipment and supplies needed for the program.
• Recommend disciplinary actions for rule violations.
• Foster sportsmanship and pride for the school and community.
• Perform other duties as requested by the principal or athletic director.
