Job summary

St. Joseph School District is seeking an Assistant Coach to design and implement an activities program across 7th through varsity levels in accordance with MSHSAA rules.

The role includes supervising student athletes during all program activities and serving as a positive role model for participants inside and outside the district. The position reports to the Head Coach and Activities Director, with duties defined under the extra-duty assignment letter.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum MSHSAA requirements.
• Missouri Teaching Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attends work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner.
• Analyzes and assesses opposition's strategies for game planning as appropriate.
• Assists the Head Coach in developing and promoting off season programs for student athletes.
• Collaborates with other coaching staff to develop the program at all levels.
• Communicates program needs to the Head Coach for expenditures and resources.
• Develops game strategies and practice regimens to improve performance.
