Cherry Creek Schools is seeking an Assistant Tennis Coach for girls at a Colorado high school. The role focuses on teaching fundamental skills, strategy, fitness, and team discipline, while fostering values, pride, and community relations.

You will work under the head coach and athletic director, schedule practices, monitor attendance and academics, ensure player clearance, and comply with CHSAA and district rules.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of girls tennis.
• Possess or able to acquire a Colorado Coaching Certificate.
• Pass CHSAA coaches test and obtain CHSSA coaching registration; complete concussion course.
• CPR & AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the head coach and the athletic director.
• Supervises all aspects of the program at their level under direction of the head coach.
• Provides the head coach with information on scores, schedules, sites, discipline, and inventories; schedules and attends practices.
• Develops and implements individual and team training plans aligned with program goals.
• Ensures each athlete is cleared from the athletic office to participate.
• Complies with CCSD, Centennial League, and CHSAA rules and regulations.
• Monitors athletes' attendance, behavior, and academic status.
• Ability to use approved first-aid and CPR skills.
• Recognizes concussion signs and removes affected players from activity.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
