Job summary

Park Slope United Soccer Club in Brooklyn is seeking enthusiastic coaches for our Girls Program. You will lead training sessions and games, inspiring development, teamwork and fun for 5–10 year olds, while following our curriculum.

Candidates should have experience with children, especially girls, good communication with kids and parents, a patient, caring approach and a passion for holistic player development.

Introduction

Park Slope United (PSU) is a leading youth soccer club in Brooklyn, serving over 3000 players--both girls and boys. Built on core principles of community, integrity and excellence, we aim to continue our growth in the coming years to become more prominent on a regional and national level. Kids enter at all different experience levels.

Job Details

We are actively seeking committed, enthusiastic and knowledgable candidates to work within our Girls Program. Successful candidates will be able to teach fundamental skills to the children while emphasizing development, teamwork and fun. They will be expected to lead training sessions and games with 5 - 10 year olds, while following our curriculum and focusing on the holistic development of each individual player within their team.

• Experience working with children, especially girls

Desirable Experience or Qualifications

Some playing experience (minimum high school level)- Interest in beginning a career in coaching soccer
