Job summary

Southwest Allen County Schools in Fort Wayne, IN, seeks a dedicated athletic coach to organize and supervise the sports program. You will instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training to foster individual and team success, while modeling socially responsible behavior.

You will assist in preparing for events and practices, coordinate staff such as volunteers and assistant coaches, and handle additional duties as needed by the athletic director/principal.

Qualifications

• Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise the sports program.

• Serve as a role model for student athletes through instructions and actions.
• Assist in the preparation to hold scheduled events, meetings or practices.
